Crafting unforgettable action and emotion, one frame at a time
Jeff Wolfe is an award-winning director and one of a select few who have parlayed an action career on screen into a successful directing role behind the camera. In the recent wake of action unit directors turning their sights on first unit (John Wick Films, Deadpool, Extraction and more), Jeff brings over 25 years of film and television experience working with talent while creating cutting edge action.
With over 200 credits to his name and well over 100 episodes of network television directing, Jeff has directed major sequences for the likes of JJ Abrams, Jon Favreau and James Wan.
A Psychological Thriller about a state park ranger husband and his wife struggling to come to terms with their missing teenage son while dealing with a local mystery that questions their relationship and in the end, their grip on reality.

Jeff’s exceptional talent and expertise have earned him an Emmy Award and four additional Emmy nominations for his work in action directing. His film Penance received 27 film festival accolades for writing and directing, including recognition at the prestigious Toronto Film Festival. His second film, Day of Reckoning, won the top prize at Comic-Con in the summer of 2018, among numerous other honors.
In 2024, Jeff directed the Feature Film OUTBREAK starring Billy Burke. He is currently developing several horror and action feature films in collaboration with legendary producers, including David Kirschner, the creator behind The Child’s Play franchise, Hocus Pocus, and many other iconic works.
Directing reel

Jeff is not one to shrink from controversial topics in his films i.e. pedophilia in the church, human trafficking, etc. He purposely tackles projects that make one FEEL and THINK.
“Immersing oneself in the story is key. Being there with the character, whether by a camera move, sound or lack of, or a choice to cut into an extreme close-up, my decisions of what to shoot are ultimately fueled by the story with an endgame of direct connection to my audience.”
